It was really exciting for Ash to win the Alolan League and finally become the Regional Champion, but now there is a full chance for Ash to become one of the best coaches in the world overall. The series has seen Ash confront his past in very real ways, and thus he has overcome these challenges with his global coronation series battles thus far. Now that he has faced some opponents that he has not only lost, but never had a proper battle with before, there are plenty of reasons to be excited for what’s to come.
There are concerns about which of these heroes will face each other as part of the final tournament arc, but it’s still very difficult to say who will fight from when all is said and done.
